Château Montrose

Saint-Estèphe

A second growth of 1855 in Saint-Estèphe, Montrose occupies a single unbroken gravel rise right at the estuary's edge, which gives it one of the commune's mildest microclimates. Its wines are the type of the long-keeping Saint-Estèphe: tannic, firm and slow to open.
