Terms of sale

Version 1.0, updated on October 10, 2026

These terms of sale apply to the Oenopia subscription taken out by a consumer, on the website or in the apps. They supplement the terms of use.

The subscription

While it is active, the subscription gives access to all courses, all game questions, the revision of every course and all tasting practice modules, on the website and in the apps, with the same account. The free content stays open without a subscription.

Prices

  • Monthly subscription: €6.99 per month
  • Annual subscription: €36 per year

On the website, these are the final prices to pay, all taxes included. Depending on your country, the price may be shown in another currency; the price shown when you subscribe is the one that applies. The applicable VAT scheme will be stated here once the business is registered.

In the iOS and Android apps, the price is the one the App Store or Google Play shows at the time of purchase; it may vary by country and currency.

A price change never applies to a period already under way. It is announced to you before the renewal it concerns, which you remain free to refuse by cancelling the subscription.

Subscribing and paying

On the website, payment is handled by Stripe; the publisher neither receives nor keeps your card details. In the apps, the purchase goes through Apple's or Google's in-app purchase system, under their terms.

Before paying, you confirm that you are of legal drinking age and you accept these terms of sale. The contract is formed when the payment is accepted. A confirmation is sent to you by email.

Term and renewal

The subscription runs for one month or one year, depending on the plan chosen. It renews automatically for the same length, at the price then in force, until you cancel it.

For the annual subscription, you are notified by email no earlier than three months and no later than one month before the end of the period in which you can refuse the renewal (article L. 215-1 of the French Consumer Code).

Cancellation

  • On the website: from your profile, through a free online cancellation feature (article L. 215-1-1 of the French Consumer Code).
  • In the apps: from the subscription settings of your Apple or Google account.

You can cancel at any time, free of charge. Cancelling stops the renewal and takes effect at the end of the period already paid for: access stays open until then. Your progress, answers and tasting notebook are kept after the subscription ends.

Right of withdrawal and immediate access

For a contract concluded at a distance, a consumer normally has fourteen days to withdraw (article L. 221-18 of the French Consumer Code).

The subscription gives immediate access to digital content supplied without a tangible medium. When you buy on the website, by ticking the box provided, you expressly ask for this access to start before the end of the withdrawal period and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal. A confirmation of this agreement is sent to you on a durable medium, by email (article L. 221-13 of the French Consumer Code).

For a subscription taken on the website, the right of withdrawal can then no longer be exercised (article L. 221-28, 13°, of the French Consumer Code). For a subscription taken in an app, Apple's or Google's withdrawal and refund rules apply.

Refunds

  • Subscription taken in an app: refunds are handled by Apple or Google, under their rules; ask them directly.
  • Subscription taken on the website: outside the cases provided for by law, a refund request is considered case by case. Write to published here when the service opens.

Legal guarantee of conformity

The publisher is liable for any lack of conformity of the digital content or digital service supplied, under articles L. 224-25-12 and following of the French Consumer Code. If some content does not work as it should, report it to published here when the service opens.

Complaints and mediation

Any complaint can be sent to published here when the service opens. If it is not resolved, you can turn to a consumer mediator free of charge (article L. 612-1 of the French Consumer Code):

  • Mediator: being appointed
  • Website: being appointed
  • Address: being appointed

Personal data

The data needed for the subscription is processed as described in the privacy policy.

Governing law

These terms of sale are governed by French law. If you live in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the law of your country of residence.
