Château d'Issan
A third growth of 1855 in the Margaux appellation, in the commune of Cantenac, d'Issan is one of the oldest châteaux of the Margaux appellation, a moated seventeenth-century fortress. Its motto, 'Regum mensis arisque deorum' — for the tables of kings and the altars of the gods — appears on its labels.
