Château
Château Durfort-Vivens
A second growth of 1855 in the Margaux appellation, in the commune of Margaux, Durfort-Vivens stands out for an unusually high share of Cabernet Sauvignon for the appellation. The vineyard is farmed biodynamically, certified since the 2010s, which remains uncommon among the Médoc's classified growths. The rest of the blend follows Médoc usage — Merlot to fill it out, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot in support — in the perfumed, fine-tannined style of Margaux.
