Château Filhot

Sauternes

A second growth of 1855 in Sauternes, in the commune of Sauternes itself, Filhot is the largest property in Sauternes, park and woods included, and its neoclassical château the grandest after Yquem. Its wines, from sand and gravel on the appellation's southern edge, are held to be lighter than the average.
