Château La Tour Blanche
A first growth of 1855 in Sauternes, in the commune of Bommes, La Tour Blanche heads the list of first growths, the 1855 order reflecting the price hierarchy the brokers recorded. Bequeathed to the French state in 1907, the estate has housed a school of viticulture and oenology ever since.
