Château Palmer
A third growth of 1855 in the Margaux appellation, in the commune of Cantenac, Palmer bears the name of the British general Charles Palmer, who assembled the estate from 1814. It is the textbook case of a growth whose market standing has long outrun its 1855 rank, on an exceptionally high proportion of Merlot for the Médoc.
