Château
Château Talbot
A fourth growth of 1855 in Saint-Julien, Talbot is one of the appellation's largest unbroken vineyards, on the inland plateau. Its name recalls John Talbot, the English constable of Guyenne killed at Castillon in 1453, though no link of ownership is established; the estate also makes a dry white, Caillou Blanc.
