A red grand cru of Gevrey-Chambertin on the lieux-dits "Les Mazis-Hauts" and "Les Mazis-Bas". The specification describes it as the northward continuation of Clos de Bèze, sharing its faintly concave form — the work of a marl bed running north to south through it — and its shallow, clayey soils rich in iron oxides. The name points to dwellings that vanished in the Middle Ages. Close to 9 hectares in 2009.
