Two walled hectares south-east of the village, low on the slope, on the thicker clay-silt spreads of the piedmont — up to half a metre of soil, which counts as deep here. It is one of the appellation's few walled clos and a monopoly, farmed by Domaine Michel Gros. The wines are supple and approachable young, without the tension of the upper-slope climats.
