Château La Tour Carnet
A fourth growth of 1855 and one of the five classified growths attached to the Haut-Médoc, in the commune of Saint-Laurent-Médoc, La Tour Carnet is built around a thirteenth-century tower and moat, making it the oldest inhabited site among the classified growths. Its vineyard, inland, is more clayey than the estuary gravel.
