Château Latour
A first growth of 1855 in Pauillac, at the commune's southern tip facing the estuary, Latour draws its grand vin from the Enclos, the historic parcel surrounding the tower. Its reputation is as the most tannic and longest-lived of the first growths; the estate left the en primeur system in 2012 and now releases its wines only when they are ready to drink.
