Château Trottevieille

Saint-Émilion

Owned by the négociant house Borie-Manoux since Marcel Borie bought it in 1949, and run today by the Castéja family, the estate keeps pre-phylloxera Cabernet Franc vines among the oldest on the Right Bank. Ranked a Premier Grand Cru Classé B in the 2022 Saint-Émilion classification, Château Trottevieille farms about 10 hectares of a limestone plateau covered by a thin layer of clay, planted to Merlot (50%), Cabernet Franc (45%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%).
