Boundaries: INAO, AOC vineyard plot delimitation (September 2026 edition) · Open Licence

The only Côte de Nuits grand cru to make white as well as red. Between 270 and 300 metres it sits like a balcony above the Clos de Vougeot and its château, at the top edge of the vineyard: a small uplifted fault block brings the Bajocian marls to the surface higher up the slope than they usually appear. About 10.5 hectares in 2008, of which fewer than 25 hectolitres a year are white.
