Boundaries: INAO, AOC vineyard plot delimitation (September 2026 edition) · Open Licence

An appellation for white vins doux naturels confined to a single commune of the Hérault, Saint-Jean-de-Minervois, on a limestone plateau at 250 to 280 m, north-east of the Minervois and at the foot of the Montagne Noire. The bush-trained vines grow in very stony, whitish soils. The wine comes solely from Muscat à Petits Grains, fortified with neutral spirit during fermentation. The term "Muscat de Noël" marks a wine packaged in the year of the harvest, by whoever made it.
