Minimum natural alcohol
- Maximum yield
- How much wine a hectare may produce under the appellation (a higher, exceptional ceiling often exists). The lower it is, the less can be made: one of the levers on how concentrated the grapes are.
- Minimum natural alcohol
- The alcohol the grapes' own sugar must be able to give, without enrichment: a ripeness threshold at harvest.

A southern Rhône cru spanning three communes of the Gard: Laudun-l'Ardoise, Saint-Victor-la-Coste and Tresques. The name Laudun could be added to Côtes du Rhône from 1953, and its wines joined the Côtes du Rhône Villages in 1967; Laudun has been an appellation in its own right since 2024. It makes reds led by Grenache and Syrah, and whites based on Clairette, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne and Viognier, which account for about a quarter of the volume.
