Four and a half hectares clinging to the upper slope, north of the village and above Richebourg, where the hillside is scooped out by a small combe. The soils are very stony and shallow, on scree masking fractured limestone. The climat has a name for being among the warmest and earliest-ripening of Vosne, which tradition links to its name.
