Wine style

Boundaries: INAO, AOC vineyard plot delimitation (September 2026 edition) · Open Licence

Eight hectares north of Romanée-Conti, on the piedmont, between 260 and 290 metres, gently sloping in the hollow created by the Bajocian marl bed. The soils, thin and strongly clayey, still drain well thanks to the limestone beneath; iron oxides give them the slope's characteristic red. It is not a monopoly: the climat is shared between several estates, and its wines pass for the broadest and fleshiest of the Vosne grands crus.
