Twelve hectares of delimited area high on the slope, north of the village, straddling the communes of Vosne-Romanée and Flagey-Échezeaux. The soil is very thin and stony, on scree covering fractured limestone, and the incline is pronounced. The wines are taut and floral, more slender than fleshy — the exact opposite of the piedmont premiers crus.
