Boundaries: INAO, AOC vineyard plot delimitation (September 2026 edition) · Open Licence

A narrow band of 1.65 hectares running down the slope between 250 and 290 metres, wedged between La Tâche to the south and Romanée-Conti to the north: the geography promised it grand cru rank, yet it was classified premier cru for decades. The decree of 2 July 1992 recognised it as a grand cru, making it the youngest grand cru of the Côte de Nuits. A monopoly of the Domaine François Lamarche.
