A vin doux naturel appellation recognised in 1945, at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, covering Beaumes-de-Venise and a small part of Aubignan, in the Vaucluse. The wines come only from the white and red forms of Muscat à Petits Grains, picked by hand and fortified with spirit during fermentation. White makes up most of the output; rosé and red remain rare.
