Boundaries: INAO, AOC vineyard plot delimitation (September 2026 edition) · Open Licence

A white grand cru shared between Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet, on the lower part of the east-south-east facing slope, around 250 metres. Its bedrock of slabby Callovian limestone is hidden under an uneven build-up of clayey colluvium fairly poor in limestone stones; the murgers, sparse here, show how thin that layer is. About 11 hectares in 2008. Its minimum sugar requirement, 187 grams per litre, sits below the one Montrachet must meet.
