An appellation in the Lot-et-Garonne, on the left bank of the Garonne near where it meets the Lot, partly within the former duchy of Albret. It makes still red, rosé and dry white wines: reds and rosés rest on the Bordeaux varieties (Merlot, the Cabernets, Côt), whites on Sémillon, the Sauvignons and Muscadelle. Its specification recalls the history of this "Haut-Pays" vineyard, left out of the Bordeaux area by the 1911 delimitation.
